Sabdochakra Privacy Policy

শব্দচক্র ("the app," "we," "us") is a Bengali word game published by Surajit Roy. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.

The short version: শব্দচক্র uses Google's own services — Google Play Games, Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing — for sign-in, ads, and gem purchases, and also sends some game data to our own server (apiservices.surajitroy.com) to save your progress, confirm purchases, and fix bugs. Everything is sent over HTTPS, and nothing is sold to anyone.

Signing In With Google Play

The app uses Google Play Games Services to sign you in. This shares your Google Play player ID, display name, and profile picture with the app so your progress can be saved to your account and restored on any device you sign in on. We do not receive your email address or other Google account details beyond what Google Play Games provides.

What Our Server Collects

Beyond sign-in, our server receives: your levels, scores, active play time, streak count and dates, so your progress carries over between devices; any change to your gem balance and what it was spent on; the purchase token and product ID for anything you buy, verified with Google Play, to confirm and grant the purchase; a record of ad-watch and bonus-spin reward claims, so the correct reward is credited; usage events — event name, level, score, and solve time — tied to a random device ID, and to your player ID once you're signed in, to help us improve the game; and, if the app crashes, the error message, stack trace, and app version, tied to your account once you're signed in, so we can fix it. Some of this — your levels, scores and streak — is also cached on your phone and may be included in Android's own device backup, separate from our server.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob to support free play. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers, general location, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads — this is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, per Google's own consent requirements. Gem Purchases

শব্দচক্র offers optional in-app gem purchases, processed entirely through Google Play Billing — we never see your payment card details, only confirmation that a purchase completed and which product was purchased.

Children's Privacy

শব্দচক্র is a general-audience word game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and our use of Google Play Games, AdMob, and Play Billing follows Google's own requirements for apps used by a general audience.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your Sabdochakra data in the app: Settings → Delete account (arriving in the next app update). Or email support@surajitroy.com from any address with your Play Games display name, and we'll delete it within 30 days.

What Is Deleted, and What Is Kept

Deleting your account removes, all at once: your Google Play Games player ID and display name as stored on our server; your game progress, including archived progress, and your streak; your gem balance and gem history, except the purchase records described below; reward, ad, and bonus-spin claims, and welcome-back gift records; crash reports; and usage events tied to your account, including any sent from the same device before you signed in. You are signed out everywhere. The one thing we keep is a record of real-money gem purchases and any refunds of them, with your name and Play Games ID removed — we need this to handle refund notices from Google and to make sure a purchase is never credited twice. They are kept for as long as we need them for refunds and tax records. Signing in again later with the same Google account starts a new, empty account. Leaderboard scores and your Play Games profile are held by Google, not by us, and are managed from Google Play Games' own settings. Uninstalling the app removes what's stored on your phone.
